Barefoot Beach Cafe

Great views, okay food. If I'd known the vegan "burger" was going to be a yellowish lentil style patty that fell apart, I would have ordered something else and maybe had a different experience. I was fully expecting a Beyond or Impossible patty which is what my son and I were craving. I wish it was better labeled... Like a curry lentil sandwich more like. The fries were tasty.

This place is fantastic, low key, and on the water. Enough said.

Came here with my family the first morning in Hawaii. It is right on the water, you order at the window and your name is called when your food is ready. It is all yummy.

On this day, I ordered the spiked avocado toast (spiked as in spicy). Got the fried egg on top and when you cut into the egg it oozes all over. It was awesome.

My wife had the breakfast burrito and it was huge. Also yummy. My older kid had a giant fruit cup and an iced coffee while my youngest had the French toast with strawberries and a strawberry smoothy.

We sat at the picnic tables and it was a total beach vibe with great food. This is a breakfast/brunch place only. First come first serve and food does run out so get there early!

A cute spot right on Waikiki Beach! The smoothies are very yummy! We went back the next morning for breakfast since they have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options.

I ordered the vegan scramble. It was okay, just a bit bland in terms of flavor.

I also ordered the garlic fries. Oh man - these were a garlic lovers dream! So delicious and would definitely order these again.

The person taking out order behind the window was very outgoing and kind.

We've been to Waikiki many times but somehow have missed this gem, so we came two days in a row for breakfast.

It's a charming cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner right by the ocean, with a good variety of dishes at affordable prices.

The Pinneaple smoothie in a Pinneaple is a fun drink, and they serve Illy coffee.

It's right next to a park and away from the hustle and bustle, a great spot to spend an hour or two.

Wait times can be a bit long but plenty of tables even on a Saturday morning. A must go!

Your trip to Waikiki is not complete without a meal at Barefoot Beach Cafe. Make sure you go. It was my favorite place out of many favorite places. They have music and hula and great food. The surf is pounding just across the boardwalk. If you get there at sunset like we did it is even more magical.

I have to say that this place was impressive for the quality of the food. It's basically a shack by the beach and you sit outside and eat your food. We got the fish and chips and an order of garlic fries.

The portions are enormous more than enough for two. The batter on the fish was a little thicker than I like but very crispy and delicious.

Parking available on the street. Recommend.

Not fancy, but fun. Good food right on the beach. Perfect place to see the sun set. Outdoor seating and they even had live music.

Very casual spot to enjoy a meal by the beach. They offer a lot of breakfast/lunch options that looked pretty good. I went with the loco moco, which was not that bad but I have definitely had better ones elsewhere. The pineapple smoothie was delicious though. Service was also friendly so if I come back, I will definitely be trying the other options!

Great place right on the beach. Very relaxed. You stand in line then order and return when you order name is called. It was a good little omelet but the potatoes were like French fries but not crisp. Would have liked salsa with the eggs for more flavor but you are there in the beach. Prices are a little high but it bad for the great experience of eating while looking at Waikiki. It is located in the park which is nice also. Coffee very good I had a latte. Sat at a picnic bench and another couple joined me. Nice way of meeting other people. Lots of seating area closer to the beach front wall.

Beautiful view, good food, and love the music entertainment. We made 2 visits...breakfast and dinner. Both meals were delicious and highly recommend!
