Nice shop with great selection of beads. What I like most is that the staff didn't bother me constantly by asking, "Can I help you find anything?"
Upstairs and downstairs area has a large assortment of beads!

Possibly Racist, very rude and very unhelpful

They close on the dot at 7, and reminded us every minute about minutes left. they were very unhelpful when asked for a particular colour.
they completely ignored the elderly English lady who walked in after 7 and they helped her! it is very hard not to see the comparision, it is so on your face!

also when pointed out to them about their impolite behaviour of reminding every minute and being rude, they actually defended it.

      they are closing down anyways.

For all your jewellery making needs head to The Bead Shop in Covent Garden. The large range of beads, tools and equipment is well organized and high quality. However, the layout of the shop does not leave much space for customers and it can get rather crowded especially on Saturday afternoons so carrying large bags or a day's worth of shopping is not recommended.

The beads can be bought individually or in prepackaged pots and bags. If handpicking your beads make sure to label the price and quantity of beads on each of the bags to avoid confusion at the till. Be warned that it is very easy to get rather carried away and end up spending a small fortune.

I have been to this shop a few times. It is a Beadworks Boston (USA) sister store. Everything is exactly the same about it, too, except this shop is larger and has a much wider variety of everything!

There are 2 floors of beads. On street level, you'll find tables full of beads that are priced per piece. (You pick out the quantity, and put them in little ziploc bags yourself.) And, on the walls, there are so many colours of seed beads in little plastic vials. I found some seed beads here that I have never seen at the Beadworks in Boston, although there weren't really any size 15's...

Then, head downstairs for the good stuff. This is where you'll find large quantities of seed beads in basic colours at great prices. There are also sterling silver findings, lampwork beads, freshwater pearls and gemstone beads. I have spent a small fortune here a couple of times, but I do believe it's a better deal here than at Beadworks in the States (even with the exchange rate!). I'm sure I'll be back! :) http://adventurousbeader.blogspot.com/2008/05/bead-shopping-again.html

This is one of my favourite beads shops. It is one of two in the Covent Garden area. I'll review the other one shortly! Anyway, you can find a wide variety of beads -plastic, acrylic, glass, wooden -as well as gemstones (downstairs). You can also buy fixings and beads in quantity for larger projects. Many of the beads for my etsy shop "BeadedDelightsByStef" have been brought from here over the years! They have classes as well and the staff is very talented, knowledgeable AND helpful.

Lovely sparkle beads for mala beads and mala bracelets thanks to Covent Garden Bead shop!

I used to buy tons of beads and wire from this place when it was in Neal Street. All I can say about it now is the prices have quadrupled.
Best buys are bargain bins and special offers other wise it is cheaper to buy beads online.

This place is fabulous. There isn't a better place to buy beads in London. The layout of this shop works, you usually know exactly what you want before you go in, but trust me, it's easy to come out with millions of other stuff.

It's the prices that I'm most impressed with. You can come out with millions of treasure, but will have only ever spend about £5.

      Yay!

When I visited this shop, my jaws dropped. It was like I had just discovered a treasure chest. Looking all around me were numerous types of beads, ropes for embroidery, various crafts, forrtwear, scrap books, etc. I felt like I could make anything. The beads come in varying sizes with beautiful colours and designs. So, if you are an artistic person or looking to perfect your hidden talents, please visit this place. I take pride in my handiwork and I know lots of you do too. It is truly scintillating!

I found this shop whilst having a few hours to spare around the Covent Garden area and I could quite happily spend all day in this shop if I could.

Fantasic helpful staff who are right on hand if you need some advice about which colour, size or style to go for.

Thousands upon Thousands of beads to choose from and always come out with great value for money.

I found this little charming shop, when I was strolling around in the streets of the beautiful Covent Garden and I fell I love with the place. I can't believe beads can be so interesting and you can do so many creative things with them.
They have all kinds of beads from swarovski crystals to wooden beads.
The beads come in varying sizes with beautiful colours and designs. You can make any necklace in the world with all the different beads in this shop. They show you all the amazing things you can do yourself and very friendly staff !
