We used Capital Letters to help us rent a place for our family to live, between selling our old house and buying our new one, and have just recently moved out to our new home.
Capital Letters (and especially Lee, who handled most of our contact) were helpful and professional at all times, and sorted problems quickly.
The ability to rent for 6 months then have a rolling monthly contract was perfect for us - we didn't know how long it would take us to find a house we wanted, and this took off much of the pressure and stress (especially as it took us a year and a half, rather than the 3-9 months we expected).
We also had our deposit returned promptly.
I would certainly recommend Capital Letters for this sort of rental.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nir S.Dalgety Bay, United Kingdom0123 Feb 2015
AVOID!! Absolutely awful people. I Lived in a horrible, disgusting damp flat that they refused to fix because they claimed the damp was caused by me. I had to move out because it was so disgusting but still forced to pay rent. I was told by previous tenants after I had moved in that it was damp before so they have some nerve to say I caused it. My clothes absolutely stink and my shoes started growing mould. I phoned them regarding a problem and the woman went absolutely mental down the phone accusing me of lying. They hired someone who left my mobile number lying around outside. The flat was freezing, it was warmer outside than it was there. The building was old and unsafe as told by the council. These people don't care at all.

Terrible. We were interested in a house to rent, I viewed it, liked it, and wanted to arrange a second viewing with my wife. I rang up and they told me they don't do second viewings as they are too busywonder if the property owners know about this!! Should have listened to my friends and colleagues who all seem to have horror stories of this letting agency.

I rented a property from this company. When the central hearing broke down it took them 3 weeks to get a plumber out, When I called them in between times I was told I should think myself lucky as the person at the other end of the phone used to rent a property & she was without heating for 6 weeks. I asked permission to have a cat & this was granted by the letting agents. However when yet another thing broke down the owner came to the flat to fix it, saw I had a cat & said he knew nothing about it. I was then asked to get rid of the cat. When I did give my notice I was accused of not leaving the flat tidy (despite me and my Mum spending two days cleaning). It got so bad that they even faxed a letter to my work. It was quite shocking & not something I'd experienced with other agents. If you are a potential tenant I would advise to avoid like the plague.
