Established in 2001. FastKlean Cleaning Company started as a small corporation that focused mainly on domestic cleaning services. Because of its owner - Antoaneta Tsocheva's high standards, it didn't take long before the company engraved its name in the cleaning industry. Recommendations showered and FastKlean was contacted even for office cleaning services and one off cleaning services such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning and many more. To date, FastKlean is now a large cleaning company known not only in London but even in nearby areas. Its services range from simple domestic cleaning to end of tenancy cleaning; and Antoaneta continues to aim for more. Soon enough, FastKlean head office was relocated to an area with shop front. This step further increased the visibility of the company in the greater London area and as a result, Antoaneta's staffs continue to receive more and more calls from different clients who want to know more about what FastKlean can offer.

I am very impressed with this company and their cleaners. I booked them for an end of tenancy clean. I was moving out of my flat and it had to be cleaned by professionals in order for me to get my deposit back. I didn't know who to call because they are so many of them online so I contacted my mum. She recommended this company because she's been using them for nearly 10 years now and she is very happy with them.
I called them straight away and the booking process went smoothly. They provided me with all the needed information. What really surprised me was the price, for a one bedroom flat they charged me £120.
The team arrived on time and the cleaning went very smoothly. They took 3 hours to clean the whole place including the carpet, too. They handled their work in a very professional manner. The place was spotless. There were no hidden charges. The landlord was very pleased with with the end result and I got my deposit back. Unprofessional and poor service. We had an oven service performed, which was incomplete: residue left in the oven cavity, doors; doors, hinges, and seals not clean. While we immediately disputed, provided photographic evidence, and the case was "pending" the company still took advantage of having our credit card number and collected full payment. After the fact they pointed to their terms that state no refund.
Complete disregard for customer satisfaction and no integrity.

I purchased a Groupon for a housecleaning service with FastKlean. It was £29 instead of £99 for 2 hours of cleaning by two people, or 4 hours of cleaning by one person. For the price I paid, I'm not hugely dissatified, but this was not a top notch service.
The company was terribly disorganized throughout the process of booking the cleaning. They kept calling, texting and emailing both my husband and me to make the booking. After my husband had made the booking, they kept texting me saying we hadn't. The day before our cleaning, they called to change the time of the cleaning. When my husband called back, they changed it back to the original time. I found this really frustrating and unprofessional.
Our cleaner arrived almost 20 minutes late, and although we were booked for 8am-10am (thus, I assumed we'd have 2 cleaners), only one man showed up. If I had made any appointments for later in the morning, I would have had to cancel or miss them as I needed to be in the house to "sign off" on the cleaning at the end.
Our cleaner ultimately did about 3.5 hours of work, rather than 4, but to be fair, he had completed the service in that time. The quality of the cleaning is fine, but it's not exceptional. For instance, I had to specifically ask him to clean the top of the stove, which had been overlooked when he initially cleaned the kitchen.
I would definitely not pay £100 for this service nor would I recommend them to friends. While I accept that FastKlean may have been somewhat overwhelmed by the number of people who booked this service through Groupon, I ultimately think they should have been prepared for that before they offered the deal.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We are really sorry to hear that you were disappointed from our services. We experienced a lot of difficulties with Groupon's offers. The offer that was online was not approved by us and the end result was 2000 sold vouchers. At the end we managed to get away with only few complains and we still have clients coming back for our services. It cost our company £20 000 to pay to Groupon. At our office was absolute madness as you can image 2000 calls for several weeks everybody was too busy answering telephones. We were aware that Groupon takes 50% from the deal and you can imagine from £29 deal - £14.50 +VAT it was for Groupon. You can calculate how much we had to pay the cleaners and how much was left for our 15 people customer services ..... Each sold voucher cost us £10. ;-(
This is not an excuse but just a simple explanation for the misunderstanding and the wrong deal. Groupon were very pushy on the phone to sale, and rushing everything to close the deal and that's why the offer was wrong without the full terms and conditions. We really tried our best to provide professional services, many companies had problems with Groupon deals, many bankrupted as well. The deal was wrong and there was not enough time for the cleaner to provide the full deep cleaning.
We would be very happy if one day Miss Becky gives us a chance to prove that we are a professional, efficient and reputable company established since 2001 and she to become one of our satisfied clients. If she decide to give us a second chance we will give her a credit of his money back and prove that we are a reputable cleaning company.
For everyone who read these reviews and our replies, we hope that they will make the right decision and give us a chance.

I'm dropping them down to 1 star because they've harassed me non-stop since writing this review. They've actually been quite accommodating and have offered to provide me with a free replacement cleaning, but they've been persistent to the point that it's invasive and uncomfortable. I don't want another cleaning. I simply want to be left alone.
I have specifically asked them several times to please not contact me anymore, yet they keep on contacting me. Furthermore, they get pissed at me for not returning their calls, despite the fact that I'm a busy person and don't have the time to speak with them.
It's like all of my crazy ex-girlfriends combined and squared.

We had no problem making the booking, and the telephone staff was quite helpful and professional, so I'll at least commend them for that.
However, the cleaning itself was rather substandard. I could've done a better job myself, and I'm not a professional.
The "cleaner" also left all of our cleaning products lying around the house (on tables, counters, etc.) when he was finished rather than putting them away. He also left our grimy, moldy bathtub mat lying on the bathroom counter where we leave our toiletries. Thus I still had to clean up after the cleaning, which kind of defeats the purpose of paying someone to come clean your flat.
I also received what was supposed to be a post-cleaning "How was our service?" survey not once, but twice BEFORE the actual cleaning. It's not the end of the world, but it's a sign of questionable organization.
Finally, I'm somewhat taken aback by FastKlean's response to Becky F's review. How can you possibly know that all 12 of those removed reviews were real (or fake) unless you wrote them yourselves? I've looked over some of those filtered reviews, and nearly all of them were written by "Yelp users" who have only written one review. That's highly suspect, and any reasonably intelligent person can see right through it.
Furthermore, why do you think that Yelp has nothing better to do than to screw you over? It's a paranoid conspiracy theory, and it's a bit pathetic. I've been a business manager who's had to deal with negative criticism on Yelp and other sites myself in the past, and trust me, the approach that you're taking is far more detrimental than it is productive. - Sherene J.London, United Kingdom621313 Feb 2014
Aw I feel bad seeing the low ratings for these guys. I have been availing of their service for the past couple of years and perhaps I can provide a more long-term view of their service quality, not based only on their Groupon offer. They employ cleaners who are reliable and regular. I like the timely communication from the agency if the cleaner expects to be on holiday or if she happens to run late for any reason. Similarly, I can always go through the company if I have special needs like switching my cleaning schedule around.
I am broadly happy with their service and may even rate it 3.5 stars but not 4 stars because the ultimate day-to-day happiness with the service really depends on who comes to your house regularly. My cleaner in my first year of service was amazingly thorough (a 5-star!) and efficient even if she spoke broken English. When I renewed the contract after the break of a few months, I got someone who was lackadaisical AND surly (2-star!) so I asked the agency to send me someone else and my current cleaner is cheerful and efficient but not as thorough as I would like, so strictly a 3 star.

Thank you for the end of tenancy cleaning service.
I felt very demotivated and obnoxious when I had to move out of my flat as I knew it had to be cleaned very well before the inventory check. That is why I am very strict when it comes to choosing the right cleaning company. When your professional cleaners came and started cleaning, I wasn't sure what to tell the cleaners and what to expect from them.
I can now say that my flat was absolutely perfect. It was good to hear that you also offered steam cleaning of the bathrooms and toilets, because these are the rooms that attract most of the germs and bacteria. The cleaners knew exactly what to do and how to clean everything.
Thank you for all the great work and for saving me my deposit. You did a fantastic job and I am looking forward to finding out more about all the different services that you offer.

I am always nervous when leaving a property, as it has to look flawless in order for me to get my deposit back.
For three years I have moved out and in five times and if I am to be honest I had a few very bad experinces with other cleaning companies in London.
I was a bit stressed out when I decided to call you and ask you about your end of tenancy cleaning offer.
Luckily, the girl I spoke to was really nice and explained everything very well.
To tell you the truth I was a bit skeptical and a bit feverish during the whole cleaning, I did not know what to expect.
Well, at the end my flat was looking perfect. It was a relief for me when I saw the cleaners steam cleaning my bathroom, because it was looking rather bad and I had no clue how this was going to be cleaned.

You did a tremendous job and I am really happy that I hired you. It is a period flat and these can be difficult to clean, but you managed to get it look fantastic.

If you need your place cleaned, please run away from this company, and fast!.
I booked an after building work clean. First of all they advised me that I needed 5 people during 5 hours (for 2 empty flats with totally new - and empty - kitchens and bathrooms). I thought it was overdoing it but I thought, they haven't seen the space maybe thay do not realise... So I dropped the number from 5 to 4 people for 5 hours.
They were very difficult to start with and called me 3 times and sent me an email all in the first 20 minutes to tell me that there were still builders onsite that stopped them doing the works. The builders were actually in the communal area on the ground floor which I did not ask them to clean and did not stop them doing anything (the flats are on the 2nd and 3rd floors).
I arrived 30 minutes after they should have started (30 minutes of 4 people = 2 hours of work) and NOTHING had been done. I explained to them everything that needed doing and came back 2 hours later (2 hours x 4 people = 8 hours). They had only cleaned 2 (tbrand new and empty) bathrooms not including the floors of the bathrooms or any floor at all ...
I was so mad that I called the office who were incredibly rude and suggested I had prevented them working because of the builders being in the hallway 2 floors down from where the cleaning was supposed to happen.
The situation was so bad that I asked them to leave and did all the cleaning myself (with the help of one builder we finished everything in 2 hours...).
So in the end I paid £200 and did the cleaning myself !
I must point out that they were so dishonest that eventhough I specifically said that I would not pay more than the deposit they still charged my card without my permission.. I will definetly follow this up and call fraud services.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This represents our company's response to the comments issued in connection with the review of Emily H. in regards to the cleaning service provided. The matters discussed in this review will be monitored to ensure that they are effectively implemented as part of our system of quality control.
As a professional cleaning company, we take great care to ensure that all our cleaners undertake their activities professionally. We have every desire to address your needs and provide the best solution available to resolve your issue as soon as possible.
Following your initial complaint that was raised with us, one of our managers contacted you straightaway in order to resolve the matter. We were very disappointed to hear that our staff did not perform well and did not meet your expectations.
We have already undertaken the necessary procedures that we have in place in order to prevent this from occurring again. We will address all of your concerns directly with our staff and they will also be attending a further refresher training.
Furthermore, we have already refunded the £36.00 that was charged following the service and we have only charged £180.00 for the job (the initial deposit paid - 50% reduction in the total cost). We also offered to send our staff back to the premises free of charge, but as this was not convenient we have further offered a free cleaning service at any point in the future.

Sadly this company does not deserve even this one star. The cleaners I used are below poor. Then I booked a carpet cleaner and told them to bring carpet protection while they where caring the machine several floor up. On the day a guy came without speaking one word of English and destroyed my carpet on the steps and I was chasing them until now to pay for the damage ( ca. £ 1000 ). After that, FastKlean insisted on sending over a second person the next day to clean the damaged carpet. They said his machine was leaking and that was the reason for the damage. However, when the second person showed up, he TOO CAME WITHOUT CARPET PROTECTION and WITH THE SAME BROKEN MACHINE.
Even tough they are saying all of the workman are insured, believe me, they are not, My security company has downloaded CCTV footage from inside my house as proof of the damaged carpet. That did not matter to them apparently because the only time i heard from them was only after i posted a bad review!
They pretend they are deaf and not there as they did not reply to ANY of my messages. In fact, the employee I spoke to on the phone was actually trying to aggressively pursue me to take it down. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND BOOK YOUR CLEANER FROM A REPUTABLE PLACE. SHAME ON YOU FAST KLEAN. Booked for a cleaner and window cleaner to attend during which damaged was caused to my blinds. I took up complaint with customer services but both denied and customer services says there is nothing they can do and that their staff are very responsible and reliable, implying that I am not. The damage would not cost much to repair so disappointed that company could not offer me anything, especially considering I have used them many times in the past for carpet cleaning. Also I didn't report this as was willing to let go at the time but cleaner was half an hour late and did not apologize or offer to stay half an hour later.

The cleaner sent by FastKlean to clean my one bedroom flat in preparation for rental did a good job, arrived on time and was honest. She found a gold necklace in the empty flat and returned it to me.
The management of FastKlean, however, is dishonest. I asked for 7 hours - an additional hour to clean the blinds - but FastKlean only booked the cleaner for 6 hours. I discussed the matter with management after the cleaner said she had to leave after 6 hours. They told me I would only be charged for the 6 hours of cleaning I received, but they went on to charge me for 7 hours. They even went so far as to take the balance from my credit card. I had given them a deposit for the service. I received 6 hours of work and was charged for 7. I will never use this dishonest service again and don't recommend it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
