If I could give this place negative stars, I would! In a time when most people would jump at the chance to earn revenue, this place seems to push it away with both hands! I wanted to buy a wedding gown there-- not only were they condescending and rude on the telephone when I attempted to make an appointment, they refused to even simply show the gowns to me. They were rude, indifferent, and told me to come back a few hours later, despite there being no other customers either in the store or on the horizon!! When I commented that their rudeness and lack of customer service was going to cost them my business, (and let's face it, wedding gowns are pricey) they said that's fine! Considering I have never seen more than one customer there at a time, their indifference to sales would almost make them seem like a money laundering front!

Although their merchandise is lovely, the horrid attitude has this customer turned off forever. Just as old town Salinas is attempting to rebuild and revive, this snooty little shop is dragging everyone down. Shame on you!

I've been in the store a number of times, and they have really cute stuff.. HOWEVER.. they're never there.. I was looking for a special occasion outfit and made over 5 attempts to shop there. would go out of my way to drive by, and the store would be closed with the post-it note on the door saying.. "call me and I'll come back".. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?.. who is going to make a call and wait around for the owner to show up??? I had driven by on my way to another place and had noticed the door was open.. I decided to give it another chance, and take the opportunity to go look around.. I parked down the street and walked back up to the store.. only to find the inevitable sign.."call me and I'll come back".. I was fuming.. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

I'm glad I'm not the only one treated poorly by this place. My friend and I were doing a little shopping today and wandered in here, the lady working there did not acknowledge us at all, a few minutes after we had been there she asked if we needed help with the nastiest tone of voice, we said "no thank you, just looking". I noticed they had a few dresses by one of my favorite designers, but they were in the back that is gated off, I asked if they were sue wong dresses, she says "yeah" and turns around and finishes what she's doing! No, would you like to see them? or try one on? nothing! If we hadn't been treated so poorly I would have definitely gone back to try dresses on, I am getting married this year and need something for my showers, bachelorette and rehearsal dinner. Perhaps since we were in jeans and t-shirts she thought we were not serious customers (my friend said she felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman) They definitely lost money today.

This funky little boutique would be a great place to purchase funky, fun and classic formal clothes, but not for wedding dresses. I visited the store with the intent to find my dress for my wedding next spring. The owner was very friendly and sweet, asked that I make an appointment to come in and try on dresses. When I called to make the appointment she sounded as though she did not remember me. I ended up trying on 5 dresses and the only white one it the bunch looked the best. She attempted to get me to make the purchase right then of her sample, without even offering a discount. I wanted to think about it, as I had gone in alone and it is a major purchase for a special day. I had further researched the designer and found 4 more dresses that I wanted to try, mind you she had made it sound like she could request any sample and have it shipped in especially if it was from the current line. I called and left a message and asked her to call back, she did not; my fiance went into her store and mentioned to her that she needed to call me back. She had marked my name off her calendar as though I had purchased my dress. She called me that day and offered to get two of the dresses in. She called me the following Monday with a promise to call me back Tuesday night with the styles that she could get in, it is now Sunday and I have heard nothing. With a purchase this special and emotional, one wants better than flakey communication I will be going elsewhere for my dress.
