A great little pub/restaurant not far from Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The pub has a cosy atmosphere and a great selection of drinks, including local ales, and the resturant is great.
They have a great selection of dishes available, with british classics such as bubble and squeak, stake and kidney pudding and faggots, as well as an amazing specials board. They also have a set menu, which you can choose to have two or three courses from, and it's really reasonably priced (£15.00 for three courses, £12 for two).
The service is great, and the waiting staff are really knowledgeable about the products they sell.
There is plenty of parking by the pub, with an overflow carpark in a field (there are paths, so it's not too bad), and it is easily accessible for wheelchair users.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - R J.United Kingdom0824 Sept 2015
Now our 'local' after consistent good food and good selection of ales. Friendly staff and a lovely building.

A really nice, friendly proper country pub with a good mix of traditional pub grub and a few interesting specials. Decent kids menu too that kept my 3 year old and 11 month old happy. Nice touch to give my daughter some colouring pencils and a sticker book whilst she waited for her dinner plus they offered to bring out the kids' food as soon as it was ready. Range of ales was good with local favourite Mad Goose available as well as a guest ale from Yorkshire.
Thought the meal was very well priced and the staff were excellent. Will definitely be returning to spend some more time next to the wood burning stove.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
