I really like La Tasca in Basingstoke. Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and good food at a reasonable price. It's well located for shopping and the cinema too.

The tapas for a tenner deal is great too, if you're really hungry.

This place has a nice atmostphere which can be great for a romantic night or a night out with friends. There is a good selection of tapas available, although beware of the meatballs as we had some which were impossible to cut through let alone eat! There is upstairs seating and in the summer it is a great place to eat outside. Look out for the all you can eat for £10, it's a good way to give this place a try without spending a fortune. beware it isn't to everyones tase as the dishes are small and you order several to make up the meal (and the bill!!).

A really nice little spanish tapas restaurant offering lots of small dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians. Plenty of chance to try out new dishes and lots of variety. The service is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable about the dishes they are serving. Drinks are not overpriced. This is a good place to take the family and offers good value for money. There are often special offers available which makes it even better!

Yeah, a decent place to get a quick bite. The food is pretty good - admittedly it doesn't compare to the real deal in Spain, but I suppose you can't expect that - and I find it has a fun atmosphere in a nice location. You can get regular 2 for 1 offers with vouchers, which always helps, and with parking nearby and several bars and a cinema in the same area it's a good place to spend an evening.

I've never been wowed by this chain and I've only been to this branch once. Slow service average food.

I visited La Tasca with my sister during the summer on a shopping trip to Festival Place. La Tasca is situated just outside the mall with all the other restaurants. We arrived
just after 12 and the restaurant was empty. We were seated immediately and our orders taken. As usual they took a fair time to arrive but they were hot and freshly cooked and delicious as usual. The service as per most La Tasca's I have experienced was slap dash and not very good. The servers were friendly enough but very slow to deliver things and you could not attract their attention easily. It took us over 10 minutes to attract the attention of a server to deliver our bill. I try to overlook the bad service as I really
enjoy the food at La Tasca and would probably return to the Basingstoke one if I were in the area. The tapas are not all that cheap either, each dish is usually priced around £5 so it is very easy to spend a fair amount here.
