Delicious, authentic. The pho soup was nice and sweet. The fried nem ran/cha gio were fantastic too. The waitress/owner was also very sweet and thoughtful... but it is definitely a whole in the wall. I would not come here for a romantic date. Price seems totally fine for Paris (though there apparently are Vietnamese restaurants in the same area that are minimally cheaper)

Come here for a delicious meal without any expectations for ambiance.

I came here recently after just having spent a few months living (and profusely eating!) in Vietnam so I had pretty high expectations.

Absolutely everything about this place screams Vietnam. First, there's the loud, warm and welcoming Vietnamese lady who seems to do a bit of everything, cooks, serves, entertains customers.

Then you have the teeny, tiny, cosy restaurant which has around four tables max (I wouldn't recommend coming here at a lunchtime/dinnertime rush hour if you're hungry) along with the slapdash vibe and makeshift-looking menu filled with typically Vietnamese dishes - unfortunately though, replaced with typically Parisian prices.

And last, but not least, you have the truly authentic-tasting Vietnamese food served in generous portions. I would recommend getting the Bo Bun as it's fresh, filling and finger-licking good.

The slapdash and, at times, questionably clean vibe aside, this restaurant is charming and authentic-tasting and truly offers a little piece of Southeast Asia's culinary delights in one of Paris' trendy districts. I'd definitely come here again and again.

The kind of ridiculously small and mouthwatering place, any foody would love to know.
Their bobun, rices and especially nems are to die for. More than that, the owner's kindness is overwhelming.

One of the best Vietnamese chicken noodle soup I've ever had. The sweet sweet lady in here is also the best. Tried to give us free beer which we refused, so she gave us two free coffees instead and a little plate with a variety of sweet dishes. AMAZING.

I loved eating here -- the vermicelli was delicious and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy, like you'd been invited to dine in someone's house. The proprietor is a lovely older Vietnamese grandma who doesn't speak much English but was incredibly patient with my broken French and very very friendly. Note that this place is cash only.

As always, I looked what others on Yelp had to say about the place. I found some really good reviews and walked the few blocks from the hotel. It's a hole in the wall, but has great vibes and really good food. I got lucky and had a French couple that spoke good English help me out with my order. The owner lady speaks only Vietnamese and decent French - so I was told.
The food they cooked tasted home made and the owner treat you like family. Really, really cool. Especially in Paris!
If I'll be in the area again I will go back for more.

If you have time, passioned for food and orignial thai culture this is the right place for you! Choose between various delicious Thai dishes, all fresh homemade, each unique on its own.

If you're looking for pho, look no further. The soupe pho de boeuf here is excellent! I found Le Grain de Riz through Yelp when I was badly craving pho. My experience with pho in Paris has been disappointing so far but I was very happy with Mme Chi's. It was authentic, fragrant and delicious, and it reminded me why I love this dish so much. Based on the food alone I would give it 5 stars, but the restaurant itself is poorly ventilated and cluttered - not a great ambiance! I left with my clothes smelling of the kitchen. Regardless, this is now my go-to for pho! The food was great and Mme Chi was so friendly she gave the boyfriend and me a small array of "cadeaux" - spring rolls, some sesame rice cake and a boule coco, all of which were also very tasty!
