This place had 9 ft (maybe 10 ft) tables and good felt. I did notice that the tables were
elevated higher than the ones I've played on in the States. Probably due to the fact that lots of people in Amsterdam are really tall!
Nice atmosphere although this place seemed to have the type of people that don't know how to play but act like sharks. You know the type--loud, annoying, ALWAYS in your way when you want to take a shot. No manners. And every shot is a loud and fast miss. Guess these kinds of men are in pool halls everywhere. But there were serious players too!
Waffling on 4 or 5 stars because it wasn't perfect for me but it probably would be perfect for most serious players.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle D.Zuid, Amsterdam, The Netherlands76123711 Jun 2015
The other reviewer left an unfairly critical review in my opinion.
If you like pool, than this a great neighborhood pool hall. The price for hourly tables was a bit steep but the beer was affordable and they had a good selection of it.
The cool, almost hidden entrance is part of the charm and there was plenty of room to play without bumping into other players, despite what that other reviewer mentioned. I thought this place was cool and I had a good time beating my opponent.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Saurabh G.Amsterdam, The Netherlands1263735651 Nov 2012
Truly meh.
The entrance is kind of weird and hidden, but that part can be easily overlooked. Once you enter, it's one big hall with very little structure and organization. There is a bar to your left right at the door, which also serves as a socializing point for the players inside. This isn't as much of an issue until you have to enter/leave the hall or order more drinks.
Prices were slightly above average for the drinks, although the actual pool table wasn't that expensive to procure for an hour. The service seemed somewhat lackluster to me, but maybe I was out on a bad Saturday evening. Speaking of which, it wasn't that crowded at all. Even then, it felt like the tables were quite close together and it was easy to bump into other players or have to navigate around walls as you tried to take a shot.
The actual pool tables were not too impressive either. I have truly experienced better.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fredrik S.Harstad, Norway1136 Mar 2019
Fantastic place for sports and pool. Play pool while watching the big Champions League Match. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it.

A seriously fun, cool pool hall. The tables were great, people and staff all having a good time. There are tournaments for all abilities, Sky TV for sporting events, and just a great atmosphere. Go to have fun and play some great pool. Don't go if you're a snob.
