St Peter's Hospice has about 50 shops in the Bristol area, all raising money for the charity which supports and looks after adults with a terminal illness.
Small charity shop on the Fishponds road stretch - their branch round the corner at Lodge Causeway is bigger so this one concentrates on clothes and the odd bit of jewellery.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melanie M.Bristol, United Kingdom23323284 Oct 2009First to Review
The Fisponds branch of the St Peter's shops has such an ace an ever-changing selection of clothing, accessories, children's items, books, music, jewellery and bric-a-brac. I love their second hand books because many of them come straight from the humanities students at the St Matt's UWE campus, so they're top quality and nearly new. You'll find Shakespeare tucked behind the rows and rows of granny coats!
Also, the feelgood factor always kicks in when you purchase a vintage handbag or a tea towel from the well organised little shop, as you're helping to keep the hospices going. Guilt-free shopping, I love it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ania S.Rincon Hill, San Francisco, United States0120 Sept 2017
Bristol Fishponds shop!
I asked for reserve coffee table for me just for one hour. I came back with my husband after 50 min and shop sold the table. She could say ....no, I can't reserve.... If I knew I would buy it maybe. It wasn't fair. I will never go there again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Susannah M.Bristol, United Kingdom4510416819 Oct 2014
This shop has had a refit so it looks really smart on the inside and the quality of clothes is really high.
The shop is logically organised by style and size so if you are looking for something specific it's really easy to navigate.
It's not the cheapest charity shop in the area but you can still grab a proper bargain. I got a really nice cotton shirt for £4 and a linen one for £3 and that was exactly what I was after.
There was some really beautiful things in there and if I hadn't had my hyper one year old son with me I probably would have browsed further!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (sushil…)Bristol, United Kingdom7178527 Jan 2009
A busy branch of the St Peter's shops, located on the busy Fishponds Road, has an ever-changing selection of clothing, accessories, children's items, books, music, jewellery and bric-a-brac.
This shop has been one of the top earing shops, helping to keep the 2 hospices open and running. The staff are nice and the stock is of high quality.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
