12APR24 ~ Ted's Montana Grill is much more than just a steakhouse. It is much more upscale than the steakhouses I am accustomed to patronize. The interior aesthetics were excellent. At first our server, 'Stephanie' is the name on the receipt, was cold and aloof, but she warmed up and became more friendly & engaging as we talked through dinner. Our lunches were very good. My son had the Delmonico Beef Ribeye, and I had the Beef Swiss Cheese & Mushroom burger. My burger was massive, and it was all I could do to finish it. Both were a bit pricy but maybe that is a sign of the times. My son lives in Denver and said that he will go back, a good recommendation. Enjoy!

Great atmosphere and friendly service!

The food (bison meatloaf) and broccoli was amazing and downright D'licious. I have to take off a point because I get the service could have been a good notch better. Take for instance you order a $16 drink , there was more of an round ice rock than liquor.
The place is in a nice pocket too so I'm bummed I had to take a star off on service. Both, the host that night and the server were not at all personable. So maybe just the wrong combo of workers that night.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Interesting night.. this is a tough one. First, crab cake app was good, as was my wife's chicken plate dinner, actually the chicken was cooked perfectly. Bison burger, acceptable. Here's where the problem kicked in... I ordered the bison filet medium. I made sure to emphasize the need for a steak cooked sufficiently. Sadly the filet came out rare, when I say rare i mean I was waiting for it to walk away. You know when you get a ahi tuna steak and it should be seared & served.. the steak was missing the sear. Fortunately my son likes red meat that can fight back, so I gave it to him. Not sure I'd give them another chance..

First time visit to a Ted's Montana Grill. I had high hopes, since I haven't had a steak in a very long time. I ordered the NY strip, which is one of my favorites. This steak was twice as big as I expected, but unfortunately it was also tough and chewy. I've never had a chewy NY strip. The potatoes and broccoli were fine. The meal as a whole was disappointing and not the quality I would expect for the money. Kind of wish I had gone to Texas Roadhouse.

I usually love Ted's. The food is consistently good and the service is usually top notch. The single star reflects the service we received rather than the food (which was good). I was at their Belmar location (first time at this location) and had horrible service. We sat at the bar, our server pretty much ignored us during the entire night (mind you she was taking care of customers next to us). We had to ask to order food, water, get the bill, etc. and had to remind her that we needed refills on water.

I REALLY wanted to like this place :( But I have to say, I was pretty disappointed.
This food is just barely okay. Nothing out of this world, sort of tasted like the food you'd have at an ordinary Applebees (Not hating on Applebees by the way ha).
Started off with the Bison Nachos and this was actually my first time trying Bison. The nachos were probably the tastiest thing I tried here.. i mean, you can't go wrong with nachos. The bison meat itself tasted like regular ground beef and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between both meats.
I ordered the Red Rock burger (Beef patty) and asked for it to be cooked Medium. I received the burger cooked super well done which was a let down because I feel like the meat loses some of its flavor. The meat itself was heavily under seasoned; it tasted just like I was eating texture :/ ... The fries were a little greasy (you can kind of see the grease in the picture) and these were heavily under seasoned as well.
My fiancé ordered the Bison Blue Creek burger.. here is where I could "taste" the difference between bison and beef. He also ordered his burger to be cooked Medium but got well done. The bison burger tasted bland and of course, was under seasoned. The difference I noticed between bison and beef was that the bison was much more drier than the beef.. Now, i'm not sure if this is just because the burgers were cooked well done or if it bison is truly drier.
I don't believe i'll be coming back to this restaurant, as I think there are plenty of other good choices out there.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2Business owner information

Chain restaurant and not impressed with the food. Steak was meh....

I've been to the Littleton location and the food has always been great but the food and service were both sub par at this place. My burger had little or no barbecue sauce. Nothing like the picture on the menu, the bun was cold and the meat was over cooked. The waitress was pretty worthless also. Rather than ask for our order when she brought the drinks she just dropped them off real quick and left. I finally had to go to the bar to get her to order.

The stars are mostly for friendliness of the staff and how enjoyable it is to dine here. Lots of parking in the lot. Food was ok but I only had a chopped salad with chicken. Not too great but ok.
