Terrace Kitchen

This was a delightful find. The food was yummy - avocado toast and brioche waffles. Their juices and smoothies are soooo good as well. Their desserts looked and sounded wonderful but we were way too full to even try.

Was excited to eat here from the Reviews. Walked over & DISCOVERED....This is an Event Only Venue now! I wish that they had updated their page.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch after tramping around on White Island (volcano). This place serves healthy, fresh good for-you food free of guilt.

They've got a nice location with open air seating in back and a friendly helpful staff. It seemed quite popular with locals and families and there are a bunch of towns and a big chalk wall in the back for kids. There were even a couple of small bikes and a wooden play house.

Food-wise we ordered The bruschetta and decided to share the "burger" (which ended up being a steak sandwich with aioli and picked beets) along with fries. The food was very unusual and not the type of food I normally favor. Clearly people like what they are doing, judging by the busy lunch crowd just not for me.

We popped in for a quick G&T after a long drive with the kids. Ended up staying 2 hours and trying a bunch of tasty treats. This place is a true oasis in the desert for weary parents. The staff are kind and patient with all the patrons regardless of their appalling manners (my 3year old).

We looked at the yelp reviews to choose this restaurant and were not disappointed. The staff were super friendly, allowing our kids to sit and watch their moktails and food being prepared at the bar opposite the open kitchen. The children's food was fresh, well presented and "yummy" (says my ten year old son). The main menu fish and beef were extremely tasty and well presented. Great outdoor terrace with a view of the lake. Very highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Yard out back great for kids. Excellent hot chocolate with housemade marshmallows and meringue is a special treat. What a fabulous find!

When I go to a restaurant, the biggest thing I am looking at is quality of food; the place itself was very aesthetically appealing and wait staff was polite and attentive. Me and my friends all tried the dinner "burger." To be fair, the waiter warned us the burger was not what we were used to, as the buns were steam fried and the meat was thin slices of beef - so I commend the waiter for the fair warning. The dish however, did disappoint, for all three of us. My friend's meat was very difficult to fully chew, and the steamed buns themselves did not work well with the dish. The flavors did not seem to work well together, and all of the ingredients combined were strange and seemingly incompatible. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea, but this was just my personal experience with this specific dish.

Staff was really friendly and food was good. Cheese board is really good. Nice bar upstairs.
